Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, gochujang, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, sesame oil, grated ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken, ensuring it is evenly coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
