Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for some heat)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening sauce)

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if desired). Rub the seasonings onto both sides of the chicken.
  2. Set the crock pot express to sauté mode and heat the olive oil. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned.

  5. Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes, then carefully quick release any remaining pressure.
