Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 25 minutes

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  1. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Dip each chicken breast into the buttermilk, then coat it in the flour mixture, pressing the mixture onto the chicken to ensure it sticks.
  3. In a large skillet, heat enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom of the pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Carefully place the coated chicken breasts into the hot oil and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
