Sunshine Chicken Recipe

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the chicken breasts with the olive oil, then sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the orange juice, lemon juice, honey, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard.
  5. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the citrus-honey mixture over them.
  6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear.
  8. In a small saucepan, whisk together the cornstarch and water until smooth.
