Steak Fried Rice Recipe
Steak fried rice is a delicious and satisfying dish that combines tender steak, flavorful vegetables, and fluffy rice all cooked together in a wok. This dish is perfect for using up leftover rice and can be customized with your favorite vegetables and seasonings.

- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 3 cups cooked rice, preferably day-old
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions: How to Cook Steak Fried Rice
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the sliced flank steak and stir-fry until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the steak from the wok and set aside.
- Heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil in the wok. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the bell pepper and frozen peas and carrots to the wok. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the wok and pour the beaten eggs into the empty space. Scramble the eggs until cooked through.
- Add the cooked rice to the wok, breaking up any clumps with a spatula.
- Return the cooked steak to the wok and stir to combine with the rice and vegetables.
- Drizzle the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil over the rice mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Continue to stir-fry the steak fried rice for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Remove the wok from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
