- 1/4 cup grated Gruyere cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the sliced onions to the skillet and cook until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
