Ingredients:

  • 500 grams chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, slit
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and coat them evenly. Let the chicken marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator for better flavor.
  3. Heat oil in a tawa or a flat griddle over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
