  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 capsicum, sliced
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, minced
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • Salt to taste

Instructions: How to Cook Of Chilli Chicken Gravy

  1. In a bowl, marinate the chicken pieces with soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, sugar, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for at least 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken pieces until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed and sauté the garlic, ginger, and green chilies until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced onions and capsicum to the pan and stir-fry until they are slightly softened.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the cornflour with a little water to make a slurry.
  6. Pour the chicken stock into the pan and bring it to a simmer. Add the cornflour slurry to thicken the gravy.
  7. Return the fried chicken pieces to the pan and toss them in the gravy until well coated.
  8. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper according to your taste.
