- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 capsicum, sliced
- 4-5 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, minced
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- 1 cup chicken stock
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying

- In a bowl, marinate the chicken pieces with soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, sugar, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for at least 15-20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken pieces until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed and sauté the garlic, ginger, and green chilies until fragrant.
- Add the sliced onions and capsicum to the pan and stir-fry until they are slightly softened.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornflour with a little water to make a slurry.
- Pour the chicken stock into the pan and bring it to a simmer. Add the cornflour slurry to thicken the gravy.
- Return the fried chicken pieces to the pan and toss them in the gravy until well coated.
