- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 2 tablespoons ginger, julienned
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 4 tablespoons fried onions (for garnish)
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions:
- In a large pot, heat the ghee over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute until fragrant.
- Add the chicken pieces to the pot and cook until they are lightly browned.
- In a small bowl, mix the Nihari masala powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt with a little water to form a paste.
- Add the spice paste to the pot and cook for a few minutes, stirring well to coat the chicken evenly.
- Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.
