  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate shallow bowls.
  3. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness, then season them with salt and pepper.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Pour in the white wine, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes to reduce slightly.
