  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions: How to Cook Prairie Chicken

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, and paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken thighs skin side down and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
