  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 ripe persimmons
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Start by preparing the chicken breasts. Season them with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
  4. While the onion and garlic are cooking, peel and dice the ripe persimmons.
