- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions: How to Cook Panda Express Chicken Egg Roll
- In a large skillet, cook the ground chicken over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
- Add the garlic and onion to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the cabbage, carrots, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and black pepper. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Remove the skillet from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner pointing towards you. Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the filling onto the center of the wrapper.
- Roll the wrapper tightly around the filling, folding in the sides as you go. Moisten the edges with water to seal the egg roll.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (180°C).
- Fry the egg rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the egg rolls with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
