  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, and dried basil.
  2. Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  7. Scrape the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.
  8. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes
