Monterey Chicken Ponderosa Recipe

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions


  1. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the Italian dressing over them. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  4. Grill the chicken breasts for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
