  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish


  1. In a large bowl, combine the cornstarch, flour, salt, and black pepper. Toss the chicken pieces in the mixture until well coated.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the coated chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5-6 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, combine the orange juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, orange zest, garlic, and ginger. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
