  • 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced

  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
