Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 1 hour

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. 3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  4. Place the chicken breasts on the preheated grill, skin side down. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  5. Flip the chicken breasts and brush the tops with the prepared barbecue sauce. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  6. Flip the chicken breasts once more and brush the other side with more barbecue sauce. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve the Lancaster County Chicken BBQ with extra barbecue sauce on the side and enjoy!
