Key West Chicken And Shrimp Cheddars Recipe


Key West Chicken and Shrimp Cheddars is a delicious and flavorful dish that combines the tropical flavors of Key West with succulent chicken and shrimp.   • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup of diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup of diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup of diced red onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Set aside.
  3. Season the chicken breasts and shrimp with half of the spice mixture.
  4. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until browned. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the diced bell peppers, red onion, and minced garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are slightly softened.
