  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 10 corn tortillas
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, sauté the diced onion and bell pepper until they are softened.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes with green chilies, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the skillet from the heat and set it aside.
  6. In a 9x13-inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the sauce mixture on the bottom.
  7. Place 5 corn tortillas on top of the sauce, overlapping them slightly.
  8. Spread half of the shredded chicken on top of the tortillas.
  9. Pour half of the remaining sauce mixture over the chicken.
