Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons jerk seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the honey, jerk seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and vegetable oil. Mix well to create a marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a ziplock bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure it is evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
  5. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. While the chicken is cooking, brush it with the remaining marinade every few minutes to create a sticky glaze.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked through and has a nice caramelized glaze, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  8. Serve the honey jerk chicken with your favorite side dishes
