Golden Chick Rolls Recipe


The Golden Chick Rolls are a delicious and savory dish that is perfect for any occasion.   • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, grated
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil, for frying


  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, grated carrots, shredded cabbage, and chopped green onions.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetable mixture and toss until well coated.
  4. Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface and spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken and vegetable mixture onto the center of the wrapper.
  5. Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll up tightly.
  6. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water to seal the roll.
  7. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  8. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  9. Carefully place the rolls in the hot oil and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  10. Remove the rolls from the skillet and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
