Golden Chick Rolls Recipe

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup carrots, grated
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, grated carrots, shredded cabbage, and chopped green onions.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetable mixture and toss until well coated.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface and spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken and vegetable mixture onto the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll up tightly.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water to seal the roll.
- Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Carefully place the rolls in the hot oil and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the rolls from the skillet and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
