Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Slider buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, pickles for garnish

Instructions: How to Cook Fried Chicken Slider

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into slider-sized pieces and place them in a bowl.
  2. Pour the buttermilk over the chicken, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best results).
  3. In a shallow dish, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  4. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and dredge each piece in the seasoned flour mixture, making sure to coat evenly.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the chicken pieces in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
  7. Fry the chicken for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove the chicken from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  9. Assemble the sliders by placing a piece of fried chicken on a slider bun, and garnish with lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
