  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Slider buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, pickles, and any other desired toppings


  1. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness, then cut them into small slider-sized pieces.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken into the buttermilk, then coat it in the flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Carefully place the coated chicken pieces into the hot oil and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
