Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup of fried chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon of dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon of dried parsley
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, bread crumbs, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, dried basil, and dried parsley. Mix well.
  2. Take small scoops of vanilla ice cream and roll them into balls. Place the ice cream balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Remove the ice cream balls from the freezer and roll them in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  5. Carefully drop the coated ice cream balls into the hot oil and fry for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until golden brown.
  6. Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried ice cream balls from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
