Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
  3. In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Add the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the breadcrumbs and mix well.
  5. Dip each chicken breast into the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat the chicken breast in the seasoned breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. In a large skillet, heat enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom of the pan over medium-high heat.
  7. Add the breaded chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking sheet and place them in the preheated oven for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
