  • 8 ounces of penne pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced yellow bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, season the chicken breasts with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken into thin strips.
  4. In the same skillet, add the cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, red onion, and minced garlic. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are slightly softened.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Add the cooked penne pasta, sliced chicken, and grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir well to combine and heat through.
