  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces of pasta (such as fettuccine or linguine)
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  5. Add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  8. Slice the cooked chicken breasts into thin strips.
  9. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet with the garlic parmesan sauce. Toss until well coated.
