Instructions: How to Cook Chicken Shumai
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, shiitake mushrooms, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, green onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Place a small spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of a dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, then pleat and pinch the edges together to seal the dumpling. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
