- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken drumsticks
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 sweet Italian sausages, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
- Season the chicken thighs and drumsticks with salt and pepper. Dredge them in flour, shaking off any excess.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

- Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet and cook until they begin to soften, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and white wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.
