Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 thin slices of prosciutto
  • 16 fresh sage leaves
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Instructions:

  1. Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to 1/4-inch thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
  2. Place 2 slices of prosciutto and 2 sage leaves on each chicken breast. Secure them with toothpicks.
  3. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  4. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
