Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chilies. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.
  3. Next, add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they turn golden brown.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the tomato puree, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Add this mixture to the pan and stir well.
  5. Cover the pan and let the chicken cook in the sauce for about 15-20 minutes, or until it is tender and cooked through.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked, add the yogurt and garam masala to the pan. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
