Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and peppers. Sauté them for about 5 minutes, or until they are tender.
  7. Add the Worcestershire sauce to the skillet and stir to combine with the onions and peppers.
  8. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and coat them with the Worcestershire sauce mixture.
  9. Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of each chicken breast.

  11. While the chicken is baking, lightly toast the hoagie rolls.
