This delicious snack is perfect for parties or as an appetizer. The prep time for this recipe is 15 minutes and the cook time is 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 500g boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 2 tablespoons rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine gram flour, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, chopped coriander leaves, and salt. Mix well to form a thick batter.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the batter and coat them evenly. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai over medium heat.
  4. Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the marinated chicken pieces into the oil. Fry them in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  5. Cook the chicken pakoras for about 5-6 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  6. Using a slotted spoon, remove the pakoras from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. Repeat the frying process with the remaining chicken pieces
