- 500g boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- 2 tablespoons rice flour
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, chopped coriander leaves, chopped mint leaves, and salt. Mix well to form a thick batter.
- Add the chicken pieces to the batter and coat them evenly. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavors.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan or kadai over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the marinated chicken pieces into the oil. Fry them in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
