Chicken Marsala Ina Garten Recipe

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup Marsala wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


  1. Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them until they are 1/4 inch thick.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
