Chicken Marsala Cheesecake Factory Recipe

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup Marsala wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish


  1. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, oregano, and thyme.
  2. Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
  6. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and become golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  7. Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.
  8. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes to reduce the liquid slightly.
