Chicken Finger Sub Recipe

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey


  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
  4. Place the breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.
  5. Take each chicken breast and dip it into the flour mixture, coating it evenly.
  6. Dip the floured chicken breast into the beaten eggs, making sure it is fully coated.
  7. Finally, coat the chicken breast with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  8. Repeat the process with the remaining chicken breasts.
  9. Place the breaded chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  10. While the chicken is baking, prepare the sauce by combining mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and honey in a small bowl. Mix well.
