Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup bread flour
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried basil, and black pepper. Mix well.
  6. Punch down the risen dough and divide it into two equal portions
