Chicken bombs are a delicious and flavorful dish that combines the juiciness of chicken with the creaminess of cheese and the smokiness of bacon. These bombs are perfect for a quick and easy weeknight dinner or for entertaining guests. Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapenos (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Using a sharp knife, make a pocket in each chicken breast by cutting a slit horizontally through the side, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  5. Stuff each chicken breast with a quarter cup of shredded cheddar cheese and a tablespoon of diced jalapenos (if desired).
  6. Wrap each stuffed chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks.
  7. Place the chicken bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush each chicken bomb with barbecue sauce.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
