Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub Recipe


The chicken bacon ranch sub is a delicious and satisfying sandwich that combines the flavors of tender chicken, crispy bacon, and creamy ranch dressing. This recipe is perfect for a quick and easy lunch or dinner option. The prep time for this dish is 10 minutes and the cook time is 20 minutes.


  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion (optional, for garnish)


  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet and season them with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. In the meantime, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and drain it on a paper towel.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Then, slice the chicken into thin strips.
  6. Cut the sub rolls in half lengthwise and spread ranch dressing on both sides of each roll.
  7. Place the sliced chicken on the bottom half of each roll, followed by the bacon slices.
  8. Top the bacon with a slice of cheddar cheese.
  9. If desired, add lettuce, tomato, and onion on top of the cheese.
  10. Close the sub rolls with the top halves and press them gently.
  11. Optional: Wrap the subs in foil and place them in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes to melt the cheese and warm the sandwich.
