Chicken And Shrimp Stir Fry Recipe

Chicken kulambu is a delicious and flavorful South Indian dish that is perfect for lunch or dinner. It is a spicy curry made with tender chicken pieces cooked in a rich and aromatic gravy.   • 500 grams chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 green chilies, slit
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing


  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Sauté until they turn golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
  3. Now, add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
  4. Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add the chicken pieces and coat them well with the spice mixture. Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
  6. Pour enough water to cover the chicken pieces and add the curry leaves. Cover the pan and let it simmer for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked, sprinkle garam masala and garnish with coriander leaves.
  8. Serve hot with ste
