  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

  • 1/2 cup diced onion

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and celery, and cook until they become tender.
  3. Sprinkle the 1/4 cup of flour over the cooked vegetables and stir well to combine.
  4. Gradually pour in the chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Add the shredded chicken, frozen peas and carrots, frozen corn, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

  7. In a separate bowl, combine the 1 cup of flour, baking powder, and salt for the biscuit topping.
