Chick O Stick Recipe


The chicken giambotta is a delicious Italian dish that combines tender chicken with a medley of vegetables and aromatic herbs. This hearty and flavorful recipe is perfect for a comforting dinner. The prep time for this dish is 15 minutes and the cook time is 45 minutes.


  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
  5. Add the bell peppers, zucchini, and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and add the diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir to combine.
  7. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the flavors have melded together.
  8. Serve the chicken giambotta hot with crusty bread or over cooked pasta.
