- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off.
- Brush the chicken breasts with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- While the chicken is cooking, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
