Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off.
  5. Brush the chicken breasts with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. While the chicken is cooking, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
