by

Bonefish Lily's Chicken is a delicious and flavorful dish that is perfect for any occasion. This recipe combines tender chicken breasts with a tangy and sweet sauce that will leave your taste buds wanting more. The prep time for this dish is 10 minutes and the cook time is 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the chicken is well coated. Cover the dish and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off, and place it in the skillet.
  4. Cook the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  6. Optional: While the chicken is resting, you can pour the remaining marinade into the skillet and cook it over medium heat until it thickens slightly. This can be drizzled over the chicken as a sauce.
  7. Serve the Bonefish Lily's Chicken with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
