Baked Chicken Thigh Parmesan Recipe

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken thigh in flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken thighs and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
