The buffalo chicken cheesesteak is a delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, combining tender chicken, spicy buffalo sauce, and melted cheese. This mouthwatering sandwich is perfect for game day or any time you're craving a flavorful and satisfying meal.

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken breasts to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour the buffalo sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is heated through and the flavors are well combined.
  7. Preheat the oven to broil.
  8. Open the hoagie rolls and place a slice of provolone cheese on each roll.
  9. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and broil for 1-2 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove the rolls from the oven and divide the buffalo chicken mixture evenly among them.
  11. Close the rolls and serve hot.
