Fish Japanese Recipes

- 4 fillets of white fish (such as cod or halibut)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1 tablespoon sake
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions: How to Cook Fish Japanese
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, and grated ginger to make the marinade.
- Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let the fish marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
- Add a little oil to the skillet and place the fish fillets in the pan, skin side down. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Flip the fish over and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
- Remove the fish from the skillet and place on a serving platter. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the fish.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
